Ms.Benser Our Everyday Hero

In Alternative Education an everyday hero walks among us. One beautiful day she was recognized for how special she is, and how she makes a difference in our lives. Every day she brings smiles to the kids, staff, and her peers around her. Ms.Benser has been teaching for twenty-two years, and she has never received an award of honor. When she received the “Everyday Hero” award she was amazed to be finally recognized by others. They gave her four different book bags of her choosing; each book bag she gave to a student in need. She also received a bracelet and some flowers. She truly appreciated all of the things she received that day. Ms. Benser has always taken care of others before she took care of herself. It didn’t matter how they treated her, she never gave up on them and it never got in her way of caring for others.  She showed the people that gave her issues and always  talked down her; that she made a better life for herself. Ms. Benser always had a big interest in how she could help others to live a better life. Her fascination with teaching and helping others inspired her to push her harder no matter what.  Every day when she teaches, she can’t wait to see the smiles on her student faces, and to hear how there week went. She is always willing to hear how she can make it better. It is common for a child to go home thinking of what they learned new, or a life lesson that had changed them. So, we thank Ms.Benser for that, and all the effort she puts in to help others.
