Today is the final meeting of our journalism class at the CEO. When asked what students learned about being a journalist this year, students responded:

“Never plagiarize.” “Use your own words.”

“Tell the truth, the full story.”

“Use proper grammar.”

“Tell both sides of the story.”

“Everything is on the internet.”

Students also gave the following advice to incoming journalism students:

“Use the internet.”

“Don’t plagiarize.”

“Use your time wisely. It should take no more than 2 days to write 1 article.”

For the final exam, students submitted PowerPoints about topics that are currently in the news such as Melania Trump, Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian, Miley Cirus and Liam, and Zendaya.

Take a bow, Journalists–signing off until next school year. Enjoy your summer!

P.S. Tahja apologizes for being out of uniform.
