Many people have tattoos and piercings. It is very common and very popular these days, and many teens get them at young ages. It’s very common for teens to get tattoos just to fit in or because they want to feel as if they are a part of something. In addition, many teens get them because they simply enjoy the appearance of them.

Getting  your nose pierced really hurts. The feeling is like a burning sensation, and it bleeds a lot immediately after getting it done.  It also takes a long time to heal.

Another area of the body that teens pierce is the belly button. The belly button piercing is less painful but takes longer to heal. This may be because the skin on the belly button is thicker than the nose.

In order to clean a nose piercing, use warm salt water. Warm, salt water and antibacterial soap can also help clean a belly button piercing.

Infections from belly piercing can produce other negative effects and can be very painful. For example, infections left unattended can lead to additional health problems and even death. Even with all of the risks, teens will continue to get piercings. Piercing will continue to be a trend among teens all over the world!
